Parts of a skateboard
*Tail is the back of the skateboard.
*Nose is the front of the skateboard.
*Wheels: They are 4 and are attached to both ends of the shafts, and are made of a material called urethane. They vary in size depending skate style practiced.
*Deck are made of 7-ply Canadian maple wood generally, It may be between 7.5 to 7.8 inches.
*truck They are two and are attached to the sides, without going to extremes. Usually are made of calamine.
*Plate It is the metal plate that secures the truck to the deck.
*Axle is the metal rod that runs through the hanger of a skateboard trucks.
